Marti Huisman



Marti Huisman advises Edu on review of curriculum and online learning. Her expertise is in grant administration and education for special needs students in urban schools.

At Edu Marti serves on review committees for large grant proposals and reviews STEM curriculum for the National Science Foundation. She has conducted usability testing of web-based education for the Public Broadcasting System, and facilitated activity-based classroom research as part of a national NSF study on nanotechnology awareness. She also collaborated with Edu on developing museum education. Marti began work with Edu in 2003.

Marti Huisman holds a Masters Degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education in administration, planning and public policy. As a professional she has completed administrative and classroom assignments for schools in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Marti received a national award from the Harvard Alumni Association recognizing her success developing cultural, educational, and social events for the Harvard Club of the Research Triangle.
