Young scientists and engineers design high-impact, flexible bioelectronic devices.

Student-led Team Focus Projects produce innovative interdisciplinary graduate training.

FlexEBio IGERT students at Cornell and partner universities work in teams to design and test nanoscale biodevices using flexible electronics. The project focuses on creating implantable biosensors for medical diagnosis, monitoring, and therapeutics.

Edu evaluated the effectiveness and outcomes of multidisciplinary training. Edu defined measurable training outcomes, designed the evaluation plan, and monitored training activities. Surveys and interviews before and after training and evaluated the project’s impact on students’ professional development. Document review assessed project activities and accomplishments.
