Michelle Sandsmark is a research analyst at Edu who specializes in reviewing education research studies and reports to government agencies.

 

Michelle joined Edu in 2012. She organized and managed large research projects, led multiple national surveys, and directed data analysis and reporting.

 

She earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Victoria and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa.

 

Her published research focuses on using youth-driven programs to encourage physical activity among girls.

 

Michelle played varsity hockey in university and volunteers as a youth hockey coach. This fits well with her interest in promoting healthy communities for children and youth.
